Preschool Teacher

The Bay Christian Preschool Campuses in Brentwood and Concord are looking for fully qualified Preschool Teachers to join their teams. These are hourly, full-time positions that require 12 Early Childhood Education Units with at least two years of experience within a preschool setting.

One year of independent teaching is preferred.

Expectations:

• Assist students in learning centers throughout the classroom

• Operate a classroom with prepared materials and supplies

• Ability to plan ahead, and prepare lessons with flexibility when necessary

• Maintain classroom cleanliness and order

• The ability to manage children in a kind, Godly manner

• Supervise outdoor play and able to engage with the children

• Lead circle and storytime, as well as music and arts crafts

• Attend and participate in staff meetings

• Communicate child concerns and family needs to team

• Good rapport and communication with families

We are looking for team players who are self-motivated, with a strong ability to multi-task, an easy-going personality, and a positive demeanor.

The Bay Church in Concord CA was founded in a storefront in 1931, in what was at that time, the small rural town of Concord, California. The church has experienced much growth over the years and built successive buildings on Galindo Street, Clayton Road, and today our current site on Evora Road.

In 2020, our members and the members from Harvest Time Assembly voted unanimously to merge the two churches. We officially became one church in two locations, and the next chapter of our future is now being created.
