About the Village Community Church

Village Community Church is a non-denominational church located in the heart of Montgomery Village, Maryland. Village was founded in September 2002 by Rev. Donald V. Evans, MDiv. and he continues to pastor the congregation in joyful faithfulness. Village is a church that completely believes and leans on the living word of God as written in the Holy Bible for guidance.

Pastor Don’s philosophy of ministry is a T3 Church: A transformed you leads to a transformed family leads to a transformed world. Pastor Don believes the greatest joy and privilege here on earth is to shepherd a non-believer into the family of God. Through an affirming process of preaching, teaching and leadership development, our mission is to grow a new convert from simply being a new believer to being a mature disciple of Jesus Christ. And then to launch that disciple into missions and watch him or her penetrate the world and make an eternal difference for the kingdom of God.
