Student Pastor

At First Baptist Church of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Student Ministry is a vital part of who we are. Our Student Ministry has seen exciting growth over the past several years. Our purpose is to reach people with the Gospel and to lead them to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ and we're looking for someone to join our team to help us fulfill our purpose. If you love leading students to see life change happen in the context of small groups and an on-mission lifestyle and are ready to lead this type of movement, we’d love to talk with you! This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time staff member in a Student Ministry leadership capacity. Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical studies or related field is beneficial, but not required. (Extensive ministry experience, in some cases, can be substituted.) Years ago God led our church to relocate to the heart of our city and since 2017 we’ve been in our new location. God has grown our church from an average of 425 in worship to nearly 1,000 in just under four years.
