Twin Oaks is searching for a man to oversee our ministry to youth and children. He should possess pastoral skills in preaching and teaching, as well as shepherding, leadership, and administration. He will be under the direct supervision of our Senior Pastor and will assist him in over areas of pastoral ministry as needed. Both he and his wife should be comfortable ministering in a rural setting. This is a full time position.
Twin Oaks Baptist Church is a very active and growing church located in Franklin County, VA. We are associated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Conservatives of VA. We are theologically conservative with an open-minded approach to ministry. Our music is primarily Praise and Worship with the inclusion of hymns. Most members have been raised in a rural setting; however, as Franklin County continues to grow and suburbanize, the make-up of our church also continues to change.
We currently have an average attendance of approximately 225. Recently we have completed a construction project which includes a 400 seat sanctuary, larger nursery facilities, and new restrooms. We have also recently remodeled of our youth room, children’s ministry area, and other parts of our existing facility. We believe the Lord’s plans for Twin Oaks are very promising.
