Young Adults & Careers Pastor

How would you like to work surrounded by the snow-capped peaks and rugged forests of scenic northern California? Situated in an outdoor recreation paradise, Pathway Church is an incredible place to make your mark. We are looking for a driven, entrepreneur type Pastor who can lead and build a thriving Young Adult/College ministry. In addition, this Pastor will pioneer a new ministry to the 20 somethings (maybe early 30s) that are beginning in their careers and no longer fit within the traditional college and young adult scene.

What you’ll be doing:

• Equipping leaders

• Building a high-impact ministry

• Recruiting volunteers and develop new leaders

• Growing the ministry spiritually and numerically

• Evangelizing and teaching God’s Word

What you need to have:

• Proven track record in leading

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to teach

• Ability to evangelize

• Tech-savvy

Pathway Church is located in Redding, CA and is surrounded by three National Forests with three mountain ranges pressed up against us. You can snowboard on Mount Shasta in late spring and water ski on Lake Shasta on the same day. Beauty surrounds us everyday, not to mention we have amazing fishing spots on lakes, rivers, ponds and streams. Within 30 to 40 minutes you can be lost in the tall trees of Northern California for a day hike or spend a weekend camping or hunting with family and friends. Redding is a great place to raise a family with strong schools and a great sense of community.
