Organist

Bethel Methodist Church (Stockbridge, GA) is seeking a part-time Organist to accompany Sunday worship services and special seasonal programs.

Responsibilities

Accompany congregational hymns, choir anthems, and special music

Rehearse weekly with the choir (typically Thursday evenings)

Play for Sunday morning services and occasional special events (Christmas/Easter cantatas)

Requirements

Proficiency in traditional sacred music and hymnody

Reliability and punctuality for rehearsals and services

Collaborates well with the Music Director and choir

Schedule & Compensation

Thursday evening rehearsal; Sunday morning service

Extra rehearsals for major programs as needed

Pay commensurate with experience
