Creative Technical Director

Gateway Church is looking for a Creative Technical Director. The church needs a person who is creative in the areas of sound, lighting, and video who is committed to working in a joyful team environment to support our mission of inspiring every generation to follow Jesus. Time Commitment

• This is a part-time position requiring 6-8 hours per week

• Primary responsibilities are on Sunday mornings but some other times during the week

Qualifications

• Christian values and spiritual maturity

• Knowledge and experience with audio, video, and lighting equipment

• Ability to schedule and organize a team of volunteers

• Understand the equipment and process used for live streaming services

• Ability to work with a team to plan worship experiences

Requirements

• Expertise in running sound, lighting, video, and live stream equipment for a live worship service and ensure all elements fit within the flow of the service.

• Serve as a technical producer directing the Media Team during worship services and rehearsals. Ensure the team reflects excellence in running the equipment and in implementing each element in the desired and correct fashion.

• Ability to keep up with and implement the latest technological advancements into the Worship Ministry.

• Maintain all equipment and purchase new equipment as needed.

• Proficient knowledge and use of ProPresenter (or willing to learn master).

• Schedule Media Team Members out at least a month in advance using Planning Center.

• Assist in any set-up or tear down of worship experience equipment.

• This position focuses on Sunday Morning Worship Services but could also include other services or special events during the week or assistance with Student Ministry and Children's Ministry events as needed.

• Excellent communication skills.
