Property Maintenance Manager

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating Basic maintenance and repairs

• Recruit and supervise volunteers for the regular cleaning of the LW facilities

• Manage and oversee a team of volunteers who assist on grounds and facilities projects

• Oversee property grounds maintenance; recruit overseas volunteer teams to assist in various tasks

• Facilitating Set up and take down for meetings, classes, and events

• Requisitioning of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties

• Keeping entries clear of snow, leaves, debris (keep exits and mechanical areas clear)

• Build and manage the facilities budget (liaison with external contractors as necessary)

• Work with the Elders and staff to execute the strategy for LW’s property vision and goals

• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Pastoral staff

• Be present for staff meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Maintenance and technician certifications are desirable

• Minimum of (2) years in facilities management or related occupation; Experience in one or more of the technical areas of HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, Plumbing, Locksmith, Security Controls, Gardening Landscaping, Construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the job as listed above

• Agree with the faith and practice of the church as set forth in the LW Constitution

• Willing to become a church member

• Experience in a similar role

• Familiarity with basic maintenance, landscaping and repair practices

• Good physical condition and strength (able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds)

• Ability to work independently, comfortable working alone, self-motivated

• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

Flexible Schedule: (hours are flexible within the boundaries of building use)

• 3 hours between Sunday 2pm and Monday 10am

• 4 hours between Tuesday 4pm and Wednesday 5pm

• 5 hours between Wednesday 8pm and Thursday 5pm

• 5 hours between Thursday 9pm and Sunday 7am
