Student Engagement Pastor

Vista Community Church in the Northwest and Northcentral suburbs of Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Student Engagement Pastor to join their team. This Pastor is trusted with providing general management and oversight for all high school and middle school ministry-related efforts in a multisite environment. The Student Engagement Pastor will lead students into an increasing understanding of what it means to be a disciple who makes disciples and to follow Jesus as King over all of life. They seek for their young heroes to feel empowered to impact people around them right here, right now. The investment in their discipleship isn’t just for tomorrow, it’s for today!

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives as it relates to high and middle school ministries
• Shepherding the personal and relational development of our youth
• Helping lead the development of discipleship within our community
• Partnering alongside other Pastors and Directors in the shepherding and leadership of our families

The Worthington Campus is inside the “outer-belt” of Columbus and is more urban, diverse, and has close-knit, established communities. The Dublin campus is a northwest suburb of Columbus and has more white-collar workers. Columbus is a fast-growing, diverse city. It has robust offerings in employment, food, entertainment, education, and medical.
