Worship Pastor

Vision's mission is simple - To Love Jesus, Love People, and Live Our Purpose. We are seeking our first full-time Worship Pastor. The Worship Pastor will be directly responsible for leading and overseeing Vision's worship experiences.

Principal Responsibilities of Worship Leader

• Lead weekly worship experiences and nights of worship (once a quarter)

• Oversee worship for VIsion Students on Sunday nights

• Interview, Train, lead, and schedule volunteers for all worship gatherings (i.e. A/V/L, Praise Band, etc)

• Oversee Planning Center - schedule worship services and volunteers at least 1 month in advance

• Oversee ProPresenter - updating lyrics, backgrounds, looks, message notes, videos, etc.

• Lead worship team rehearsals

• Oversee all A/V/L

• Purchase and implement multitracks

• Oversee the online production and supervise the production team

• Oversee stage design

• Plan and budget for worship ministry

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining correct church licensure (CCLI, video licensing, etc.)

• Be active in a Life Group

• Serve as a pastor on staff and help with preaching, visiting, shepherding, counseling, etc

Personal Qualifications

• Be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior

• Complete and pass a background check

Job Skills Required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in playing guitar and/or piano

Educational Requirement

• Experience preferred

• Undergraduate Degree
