Job Title: Headmaster / Associate Pastor

Location: 342 Amoretti St, Thermopolis, WY 82443

Pay: $30,000-$40,000 (Pay scale dependent on experience)

The Position:

Risen Son Southern Baptist Church (RSSBC) is looking for someone who has received the call to serve students, their families, and the church. This is a full time position and duties are detailed below:

Headmaster/Associate Pastor duties are (but not limited to):

• Primarily Headmaster of the Risen Son Christian School (RSCS), which includes curriculum educational planning, administration, day-to-day operations

• Development and growth of school operations

• Supports the Senior Pastor in planning, implementing and teaching the vision ministry

• Provide biblical counseling, prayer ministry to people

The Ideal Candidate:

• One who satisfies the Biblical qualifications for the office of elder

• Devotes his time to prayer, the ministry of the Word and shepherding God’s flock

• Will provide effective Biblical leadership to facilitate and continue our pattern of excellence and growth at both RSSBC and RSCS.

• Possess strong communication skills and take on an appropriate sense of ownership for the organization

Personal Qualifications:

• Exhibit evidence of Christian character servant leadership in both the work, home and family setting

• Have a strong work ethic and personal integrity

• Doctrinally aligned with RSSBC’s Statement of Faith, mission, core values

Required Qualifications:

• Exhibit a clear Christian testimony and walk with Christ

• Must demonstrate preaching and teaching gifts

• Proficient in administration, leadership, teaching responsibilities

• Must be able to reach and connect with students, staff, and the community

• Must be a self-starter, able to anticipate needs without oversight

• Able to focus on the tasks at hand and have sufficient follow-through

Preferred Qualifications:

• An Associates Degree in Biblical studies

• Strong communication abilities, both written oral

• Strong team builder and recruiter
