Elementary Specific Childrens Ministry Residency

Utilizing your unique abilities, our goal for our 12 month residency program is to empower you as a leader, strengthen your walk with God, and equip you with the skills you need to lead a ministry team.

This is a 12 month leadership development program designed for those who have completed their college studies or equivalent and already have a sense of their calling and career path.

Grace Kids Elementary consists of 1st - 4th graders and kids of this age are explorers with many questions who also want to be known. We try to write a weekend experience which has a small group time with consistent leaders and a large group that is EPIC. EPIC stands for Experiential, Participatory, Image-rich, and Connected. We value fun, relationships and sharing the Bible in kid language so they can grow to be outward-focused followers of Jesus. This resident will help lead all aspects of elementary including weekend execution, help lead at SBO, prep rooms for weekend services and manage and schedule volunteers. They will be leading classrooms and must be passionate about relational leadership and empowering volunteers and teams. Along with leading classrooms on the weekends, they will also oversee all aspects of Kids Worship. They will also teach and manage and lead both small group and large group volunteer teams.
