Worship Leader for CrossRoads - Albuquerque

CrossRoads Community Church is based in San Antonio, Texas. We have a vision of beginning ten campuses in ten years. We currently have three functioning campuses and two active launch teams. We are looking for a Worship Leader for our Albuquerque Campus.

• We believe our mission is to love people into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

• We do not get involved in politics or choose candidates or political parties. We choose Jesus who at times would be considered liberal and other times, conservative.

• We do not make social justice our main priority. We believe in helping the needy (Matthew 25), but our main priority is salvation and transformation.

• We plan everything with a look to the next generation to ensure the vitality of the ministry for generations to come.

We are looking for someone with musical talent and the ability to lead a worship band.

This is an entry-level position or what we call a Tier 1 position starting at $100 per week to develop the position into a part-time and finally a full-time position. The Tier 1 period is similar to an internship to see if it is a good fit. If so and when funds are available, the position would move to Tier 2 which would be $200 per week.

The responsibilities of a Tier 1 Worship Leader are:

• Lead Worship with keyboard or piano on Sunday mornings under the direction of our Campus Pastor

• Be active in recruiting musicians to the worship team. These will go through our Growth Track and require the approval of the Campus Pastor before being on the team.

• Be willing to help build a worship team as the Lord provides

• Strong Christian Faith

• Agreement with our beliefs - to be discussed in the interview process

• Joyful disposition

• Humility

• Strong vocal and instrumental ability to lead worship

CrossRoads is a growing church with multiple sites. We are embarking on an exciting new vision of 10 campuses in 10 years. We started a second campus during covid. We now have three launch teams active for three more campuses. We are an English-speaking church but majority Hispanic, but quite diverse. Our worship is contemporary (Hillsong, Elevation, etc.). We are also a Bible-teaching church holding to the Wesleyan-Arminian theology.
