Director of Children and Family Ministries

Haymount United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a full-time Director of Children and Family Ministries. This staff person will work in partnership with the pastor, other staff, and members of the congregation to oversee children and family ministries within the life of the church.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have a degree minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. The ideal candidate should also have:

· Strong organizational and administrative skills.

· The ability to work well with staff and congregation members, and ability to lead groups of volunteers through training and empowerment.

· The ability to vision, plan, and implement strategies.

· Familiarity with United Methodist curriculum and pedagogy.

· Computer/technology skills.
