First Baptist Church of Valdosta is seeking a College/Young Adult Minister as we recommit ourselves to reaching the college students and young adults in our town. This is a new position with a simple focus - connect college students in Valdosta with God and our church. We will expect our new College Pastor to spend the majority of his time on the campuses of our local colleges. In addition, he will also be expected to lead and develop discipleship, ministry and fun activities for college students and young adults at First Baptist.
Valdosta is a prime location to reach and minister to college students. Among our colleges and universities is Valdosta State University with an enrollment of nearly 12,000 students. Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is also located in Valdosta and has an enrollment of over 6,000. We are fully committed to reaching young adults in Valdosta, GA.
Experience working with college students is a major plus. Must adhere to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
