Job Description

Community Christian Church is seeking an enthusiastic musician to lead our Sunday and Midweek gatherings in worship. Applicant must be able to lead worship on piano or guitar solo. We have a great team ready for your leadership, and our congregation loves to sing! Worship is an essential part of our personal walk with God, and our life together as the body of Christ. Worship draws us together AND towards God. We need a musician who can lead by themselves on piano or guitar, but we do have a great team ready to back you up!


Your Role as Worship Leader:

  • Love the Lord your God and love others.
  • Plan and lead worship gatherings on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
  • Lead all aspects of the worship gathering - technical, scheduling, etc.
  • Assist in church ministry at-large: special events, outreach, planning.


Qualifications:

  • A vibrant faith in God with excellent references. The Bible calls us to consider character first in seeking leaders.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Bible College or University. Bible institutes and training schools will be considered. We are seeking a worship leader who knows the Word of God.
  • Experience leading church worship. Video of your worship leading will be helpful to our leaders!
