Do you love to train, build, and raise up worship team members? We are looking for a part time worship leader who loves to build team members with worship pastor potential to be part of our church (see hpfc.org for more information). Your role would be to train, lead, and develop our worship/team and worship within the church. This person should be passionate about raising up worship team members, seeing others worship Jesus, and take next steps with Him.
Ideal candidate would have the heart of a coach and be a solid vocalist with worship leading experience/training with good stage presence, ability to develop a team, preferably plays/leads with keys or acoustic or without playing themselves (we currently have a keys and acoustic musicians). You should get at least as much joy out of developing others as you do leading worship yourself.
We utilize in-ears and use Playback for backing tracks. Our preference is someone who would be part of the church and when ready, provide leadership within the church.
Church of 150 pre-COVID and growing in 2 services. Currently in one 10 AM service on Sundays but anticipate going to 2 services this year. Ideal candidate is willing to be bi-vocational with a heart for the local church and skills to develop others in worship and worship skills.
Responsibilities involve normal worship leading things like spiritual leadership, song selection, leading our Saturday morning rehearsals, leading on Sundays, etc. Weekly structure involves on-site weekly rehearsal (normally on Saturday mornings due to worship team work schedules) for 1.5-2 hours, on-site sound check an hour before our first service, our on-site monthly 4th Sunday Team Night (most months), and serving on a mostly volunteer executive leadership team that meets on Monday nights via Zoom.
Ideal candidate would desire to be involved in a six-month leadership training process sometime within first year (we typically start and February and September). You would work with our music director who gives input on song selection, programs playback and also work with a solid tech team in the booth. This person would report directly to the Lead Pastor.
Our worship music/style is pulled from Cody Carnes, Bethel, Jesus Culture, Elevation, Brooke Ligertwood, Phil Wickham, Hillsong, the Torwalts, Charity Gayle, and a little Maverick City. The ideal candidate can lead and develop a team for this type of music.

Compensation: $300+/weekend based on experience, team coaching ability, etc.
