Minister of Discipleship and Young Adults

Temple Baptist Church is a multigenerational church in North Louisiana reaching

hundreds of adults, young adults, college students, youth, and children every week. We

exist to see every member Growing in Christ, Connecting in Community, and Engaging

in Mission. We are looking for a Minister of Discipleship and Young Adults who will help

us realize this vision. Specifically, we are seeking a godly man who has experience in

discipleship ministry and who is both a hard worker and team player.

A portion of ministry responsibilities will include:

Oversee the Sunday School and discipleship ministries of the church.

Work with the Discipleship Ministry Team which consists of the Administrator, Minister

of College Students, Minister of Youth, Minister of Preschool and Children, and the

Director of Preschool and Children.

Enlist and equip leaders for discipleship and Sunday School ministries.

Coordinate short-term and long-term discipleship opportunities for Adults and Young

Adults.

Help develop a leadership pipeline to secure and develop future leaders in the church.

Evaluate, propose, and implement strategies to attract and retain young families within

the church.

Work with the Minister of Preschool and Children and the Minister of Youth to plan and

provide leadership for family enrichment, seminars, trips, etc.

Work with the Minister of College Students to ensure appropriate transition of college

graduates to young adult ministry.

Oversee the "First Impressions" ministry (hospitality, greeters, etc.) of the church.
