Discipleship Pastor

Ripon Community Church (RCC) in Ripon, Wisconsin, is seeking to add a Discipleship Pastor to its team. This position will fulfill a key role in achieving RCC’s mission of Representing Jesus Well through leadership in Discipleship, Outreach, and Pastoral Ministries. This position will work closely with the Lead Pastor to ensure the growing spiritual health of the RCC family. Bringing a mature yet not too serious personality to the role, this person will help set the direction for a growing and impactful church. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Creating and sustaining effective discipleship systems and practices 
• Creating and overseeing effective opportunities for Biblical education and application 
• Setting culture and leading by example 
• Developing, promoting, and executing a yearly missions schedule that imitates Acts 1:8 
• Creating and executing strategic plans to achieve RCC’s mission of Representing Jesus Well on every city street and in every social circle in Ripon and the surrounding communities 
• Composing and delivering Sunday sermons 3-6 times yearly

• Ability to lead and organize volunteers 
• Ability to teach from the stage and in a classroom setting 
• Ability to work well on a team 
• Organizational skills for outreach events + missions initiatives 
• Self-starter and self-led 
• A visionary with the ability to dream up mission-minded goals and bring them to fruition
