Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for organization, efficiency, have great follow-thru and a knack for creating a warm and welcoming environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you! (bilingual in Spanish is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors with a cheerful and friendly demeanor.

  • Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for seamless document retrieval.

  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings with precision.

  • Manage multiple databases with detail and precision.

  • Assist in general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation assigned ministry responsibilities.

  • Utilize your resourcefulness to tackle challenges and find innovative solutions.

  • Demonstrate excellent multitasking abilities and thorough follow-thru in a dynamic work environment.

  • Manage weekly volunteer and employee fingerprinting appointments

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a definite plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and document creation.

  • Ability and desire to learn and utilize new programs.

  • A positive and cheerful attitude that contributes to a positive workplace culture.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Resourceful mindset to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities.

  • Valid Drivers license.

  • Ability to pass FBI background check and fingerprinting application process.

About the The Bay Church

The Bay Church in Concord CA was founded in a storefront in 1931, in what was at that time, the small rural town of Concord, California. The church has experienced much growth over the years and built successive buildings on Galindo Street, Clayton Road, and today our current site on Evora Road.

In 2020, our members and the members from Harvest Time Assembly voted unanimously to merge the two churches. We officially became one church in two locations, and the next chapter of our future is now being created.
