Children's Pastor / Director

CHURCH DESCRIPTION:

North Central Church is an Assemblies of God Church with a rich history of Loving God, Loving People, Sharing Jesus, and Making Disciples. POSITION: Full-Time Children's Pastor/Director

• They will need to have a minimum of 5 years of Children’s Ministry Experience.

• They will need to be creative, passionate, motivated, and love all children exceptionally.

• They must understand the importance of LOVE in ministry, teamwork, personal relationships, accountability, and the need for being prepared at all times.

• They must be respectful, a life-long learner, able to receive instruction, loyal to those in authority over them, and possess a personal vibrant love for the Lord.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee, direct and lead all Children's Ministries, birth - 5th grade.

• Teach and personally lead in the Junior Children's Services.

• Facilitate all special events such as Camps, Summer “Staycation,” 5th Grade Mission trip, Two holiday driven community events - “Eggcellent Adventure” for Easter, and “Hallelujah Night” the Wednesday before Halloween.

• Responsible for a presenting a Children’s Christmas Special during the month of December.

• Work closely with Royal Ranger Boys, Mpact Girls, and Nursery Directors, providing oversight, help and guidance when needed.

• Responsible to recruit and train new team members and volunteers.

• Work closely with the pastoral staff and team within the context of church life and ministry, assisting where needed.
