Riverside Community Church (RCC) is a non-denominational, independent, English-speaking Church located near New York City and draws from people of various backgrounds, including financial, healthcare, business, education, and others. We are comprised of diverse ethnic and racial groups; however, the largest contingent is English-speaking Korean Americans. Because we own our facilities, which include 20,000 square feet, as well as full access to the school field for a wide range of outdoor activities, we can offer a robust set of ministries.
Our lead pastor is passionate about mentoring and is willing to mentor staff, committed to their personal, spiritual, and professional development. We also have committed teachers and parents who will fully support the new Youth Pastor. To better contextualize the gospel and ministry for our youth, we have a separate youth group service in a chapel during our 11am adult service.
The Youth Pastor will lead and organize an effective youth ministry, implementing fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism. Most importantly, the Youth Pastor should demonstrate a hunger for the Lord and possess a passion to lead the youth of our church into that same hunger. The overall objective is to make Christ-like disciples of our youth and to train and mobilize them to be Christ-like disciples.
If you have high energy, have experience in growing a ministry, and want to be part of a growing ministry team, please send your resume with a cover letter including a 2-page testimony (no longer), statement of faith (i.e., what you believe), and 3 references (name, email address, & phone number) to rtf319@hotmail.com. No phone calls, please.
