What you’ll do

• Lead student ministry programming: plan and run weekly gatherings, events, retreats, and service opportunities.
• Shepherd & equip leaders: recruit, train, evaluate, and support volunteer leaders and student leadership teams.
• Discipleship & pastoral care: walk with students through spiritual growth, life transitions, and pastoral needs.
• Collaborate & coordinate: work with staff and central teams on curriculum, creative elements, logistics, and special events.
• Safety & culture: maintain a welcoming, safe environment that encourages participation and spiritual formation.
• Manage operations: oversee volunteer schedules, databases, budgets, and administrative tasks.

What we’re looking for

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years in ministry or related leadership required. Strong student-ministry background.
• Pastorally gifted: Relational, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about reaching students.
• Leader-builder: Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain volunteers and student leaders.
• Organized executor: Excellent planning, administrative, and communication skills; comfortable with ministry management tools.
• Spiritual character: Committed, growing relationship with Jesus; integrity, confidentiality, and alignment with CCC values.

HOW WE GOT HERE

If God could take a little brick building on Tibet Ave in Savannah in 1964 and transform it into what Compassion Christian Church is today, what could He do through you? Our vision, from the day of our founding to today, has remained the same: to welcome people into our church and pray they leave feeling like they have found a home.

Over the years, we've expanded to seven campuses, plus an online presence, creating a multi-racial, multi-generational congregation dedicated to leading people to Jesus—not just in Southeast Georgia, but all across the world.
