Purpose: To provide overall leadership for the ministry of worship and creative arts at LCF. 
 
Qualifications: 
- Agreement with LCF’s Values, Doctrine, and Biblical Guidelines for Personal Discipleship and Ministry. 
 - Demonstration of spiritual maturity and integrity. 
 - Spiritual gifts or abilities which may include leadership, pastor, and encouragement. 
 - Experience in leading congregational worship; experience in leading and training worship team(s). 
 - Strong team player; good follow-through with people and tasks. 
 - Understanding and/or working knowledge of music and worship technology. 
 - Passion for worship and leading worship. 
 - Administrative, planning, and organizational skills 
 
 
Responsibilities: 
- Adhere to LCF’s Values, Doctrine, and Biblical Guidelines for Personal Discipleship and Ministry. 
 - Demonstrate unity with LCF, Leadership Team, church staff and Lead Pastor. 
 - Overall Worship Ministry Leadership – communicate and maintain LCF’s worship values with the congregation and the worship team(s); set goals and priorities for worship team and various technical teams along with the Lead Pastor; monitor and measure progress. 
 - Worship Team – provide leadership for worship team through prayer, planning, vision casting, listening, and regular communication; recruit, lead, train, encourage, hold accountable, and pastor worship team members; invest time and energy to train and develop worship leaders by providing opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. 
 - Media, Technical, and Sound Teams - oversee recruitment of media, technical, and sound team members; lead, train, encourage, maintain accountability, and pastor team leaders; provide oversight for administrative needs. 
 - Worship Training – provide training to the broader congregation to facilitate the leading of worship in other contexts, such as small group or youth band worship; lead and develop instrumentalists. 
 - Budget - plan and supervise the budgets for worship and technical teams, including approved purchases and/or maintenance of equipment and licensing.  
 - Organization - schedule volunteers for Sunday services, practices, and special events; lead corporate worship; utilize volunteer worship leaders; prepare the church building for Sunday services including worship slides and song books; complete any other preparations, as needed.  
 - Other Services and Events – assist in planning special services, such as passion week, worship nights, and Christmas Eve service, as directed by Lead Pastor. 
 - Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor 
 
 
Reporting Relationships: 
Reports To: Lead Pastor 
Supervises Paid Positions: Sound Director, Technical Director, Communications Coordinator 
Supervises Volunteer Positions: Worship Team 
Employee Classification and Category: Exempt, Regular Full Time. 
Salary: $60,000 plus benefits (full family health insurance, housing allowance, retirement, cell phone allowance, vision and dental)
