Director of CLASP/Summer CLASP Ministries

We are looking for an outgoing individual who can create, plan, organize, and oversee a program for Before/After school care along with a Summer day camp for elementary age children. This is a part time position based on 30 hours a week.

Administrative duties would include:

• Budgeting

• Staff Scheduling

• Maintaining records as required by the state.

• Handling tuition payments

• Preparing for State Inspections

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood or a similar area of study

• At least 2 years' experience in childcare

• Supervisory experience preferrable but not necessary

Participate in community outreach, interact with children, see the love of Jesus on a daily basis.

Children's Outreach Ministries is an extended ministry of Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren. We were set up to meet the needs of the families in our community for child care and education. We have five separate programs that make up Children's Outreach Ministries. The CLASP (Christ's Love Around School) Program was set up to provide before/after care for elementary age children during the school year. When the school year is done this program rolls over into Summer CLASP (Christ's Love All Summer) which is a day camp providing all day care for elementary age children from June-August. An important part of the program is teaching children who might otherwise not have any other exposure about God, salvation and the foundations of faith.
