Eastman First Baptist is a dynamic, growing congregation of 600 in central Georgia. Although we are in a rural setting, we are a church with a global reach that is committed to taking God's unchanging truth to an ever-changing world.

Position Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our ministry team for the purpose of providing planning, oversight and leadership to the full spectrum of music ministries at our church.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in worship leadership or ministry

• Additional seminary education preferred.

• Adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

Responsibilities

• Closely assist the Lead Pastor in building worship experiences that support the sermons delivered throughout the year.

• Oversee all rehearsals.

• Oversee the technical aspects of worship (sound, light, media, staging).

Pastoral Duties

• Cooperate with the other pastors in providing care to members.

• Cooperate with the other pastors in carrying out administrative duties and providing leadership to ministry teams.

Personal Attributes

• Personal testimony of having received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

• A heart to care for and guide people in their walk with God.

• Ability to use relevant technology, software, and apps related to duties of both office and worship ministry
