Youth Worship Leader

Fountain of Life Covenant Church (FOL) is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church located in an under-resourced neighborhood in Long Beach, CA called the Westside.

Role Description

We are looking for a Youth Worship Leader whose passion is to lead students into the Presence of God. The Youth Worship Leader, under the direction of the Senior Pastor, will work collaboratively with the Minister of Youth and Worship Lead Team to provide the following outcomes:

• Lead the high school youth into worship weekly - on Wednesday evenings.
• Incubate and nurture a youth worship team that, together with the Youth Worship Leader, leads Sunday worship at one service each month. 

Qualifications

• Love for the name and fame of Jesus Christ.
• Proven capacity to lead students in worship vocally and instrumentally.
• Competency and skill to develop a healthy team, or willingness to receive training and mentoring to do so. 
• Training and education in worship/ministry (preferred but not required).
• An individual who is seeking a future vocation in worship ministry (preferred but not required).

Compensation: $1320 / month

Hours: 15 hours / week

Duration: 6 month contract
