Associate Pastor of Student and Young Adults

Lighthouse Church seeks a passionate and dedicated Associate Pastor of English Ministries who can lead and guide the church, having a lasting impact on the lives of young people, fostering their spiritual growth and empowering them to live out their faith. The Associate Pastor will report directly to the Senior Pastor and will be a member of the church Board contributing to the church vision and Board responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Spiritual Leadership: Cast the vision and strategy for Lighthouse church in alignment with the church vision.

• Teaching and Preaching: Deliver engaging and relevant biblical teaching in various settings. Provide discipleship and mentorship to students and young adults and families, guiding them in their relationship with God.

• Leadership Development: Equip and empower student and young adult leaders for ministry involvement.

• Program Management: Work closely with the ministry serving team to plan and oversee a comprehensive ministry program, including weekly meetings, special events, and community outreach initiatives.

• Team Building: Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment where students, young adults and families feel a sense of belonging.

• Administration: Manage ministry resources, ensure safety protocols are followed, and maintain clear communication with staff, parents, and the congregation.

Qualifications:

• A deep passion for student ministry and discipleship.

• Strong biblical knowledge and communication skills.

• Experience in leading and developing young people.

• Ability to connect with diverse individuals in an intercultural context.

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.

• A collaborative and flexible approach to ministry.
