Our Lady of Hope Catholic School is a parochial K-8 school with approximately 215 students in Potomac Falls, VA As a ministry of Our lady of Hope Parish, we are seeking a dynamic and practicing Catholic educational leader who will help form joyful, committed, dedicated, disciplined, and responsible Catholic students in partnership with our parents and faculty.
Working with, and under the direction of, the pastor, you will have the opportunity to lead our dedicated teachers and staff to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of our students by helping them grow in holiness and knowledge. You will be supported by our enthusiastic PTO.
Our Catholic identity is manifested in works of charity, prayer, and weekly Mass. Our academic excellence is demonstrated through high standardized test scores and our students’ admission to the high schools of their choice. The school’s academic program is enhanced by music, art, computer, and foreign language curricula. Applicants should have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and seek to be a positive, committed leader working within our community, dedicated to continuing our academic excellence and spiritual growth.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
The successful candidate must be a faith-filled, practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the Catholic philosophy of education and the new evangelization. Applicants must possess proven educational, managerial, communication and leadership skills. Five years of teaching experience in a Catholic school and a Master’s Degree in School Administration are minimum requirements. All appropriate Virginia State and Diocese of Arlington certifications must be obtained within three years of hire.
The start date for the position is July 1, 2024. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and Diocesan guidelines.
