Cornerstone Community Bible Church, located in Mediapolis, Iowa, is seeking is next Full-time Pastor. Cornerstone is an independent, unaffiliated church founded in 2011 with an average attendance of 85 adults and 20 children. It is a vibrant church body dedicated to growing disciples who will make an impact for Christ in its community and the world. The worship style is fully contemporary led by a large, talented praise band and worship leaders. Biblically qualified elders and deacons direct its diverse ministries. The building, located on the primary highway through town, is highly visible and is now nearly 100% renovated with an outstanding worship center, offices, conference room, nursery, children’s classrooms, restrooms, and soon to be completed kitchen and multi-purpose room. Outstanding debt is very minimal. The town of Mediapolis has a census of approximately 1800 residents and is located 13 miles north of Burlington, Iowa. It is known for its desirous school district, excellent housing and infrastructure, and nice commercial district. Pastoral applicants should possess the spiritual qualifications for elder, adequate biblical/theological training at a conservative, evangelical Bible college or seminary, demonstrable ministry experience with strong gifts of teaching and preaching, while practicing and being committed to an expository preaching style.
