ABOUT THE POSITION
Outreach Baptist Church is blessed with phenomenal facilities situated on 18 beautiful acres. OBC is equipped with state of the art sound equipment and technology, a staff of dedicated volunteers, a talented praise band, and a 30+ voice choir. Outreach has a more contemporary worship style with passionate preaching ministries. The church is 7 years old and has baptized over 500 people during that time. Currently the church is growing at an unprecedented rate.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Duties will include leading congregational worship, leading a praise band, leading a choir to assist in congregational worship, and working with volunteers in the sound and technology ministry. The Worship Pastor will also assist the pastor and staff in fulfilling the great commission and implementing the vision of the church.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Our ideal candidate should have a strong personal relationship with the Lord and spiritual giftedness to lead worship. He must genuinely love Jesus, love souls, possess leadership skills, and be passionate about ministry. His conduct must be worthy of the gospel.
