Key Responsibilities

1. To provide Bible-based sermons and lessons that edify, challenge, and encourage the church as well as promote the worship of God. 2. Disciple the congregation through Bible Study to develop their Christian maturity, and biblical understanding to equip the members for discipleship.

3. Ensure and promote the church provides a variety of programs and fellowship that engage all members of every generation.

4. Support the different church committees, and other groups that help to accomplish church goals and church vision.

5. Support the children and youth ministry programs that will prepare them for independent Christian adult living and foster and promote Bible based life.

6. Demonstrate, and lead the congregation in efforts to grow God’s Kingdom and to reach the lost and the unchurched.

7. Encourage and assist the congregation to identify and utilize their gifts and find a place to serve the Lord within the Church and ministry.

8. Provide support and counseling to members during times of personal struggles or crisis.

9. Administer baptism, communion, funerals, weddings, and participate in homebound and hospital visits.

10. Provide supervision and direction to all church employees.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Master's Degree, Bachelor’sDegree or advanced coursework in a relevant field, such Divinity, Theology, or Religious Studies.

2. 6 years experience in Associate Pastor Role, with 3 years experience Senior Pastor or equivalent.

3. Strong organizational, communication, and supervision skills.

4. Strong leadership, team-building and interpersonal relationship skills.

5. Demonstrate effectiveness in communicating through multiple media.

6. Must be ordained to preach in NC with a Christian organization
