Crossroads Community Church is a vibrant community of Christian believers committed to loving God and serving others through action. Located in the growing community of Northwest Guilford County in Stokesdale, NC, our church embraces a contemporary worship style led by a praise band, paired with practical, Bible-based teaching.
With a 25+ year legacy, Crossroads is a relational, Spirit-led church focused on deep connections—both within our congregation and throughout the local community. Our culture is informal, welcoming, and mission-minded, expressed through small groups, Bible studies, outreach events, and local service projects. Crossroads is a Baptist-affiliated church with a non-denominational approach to worship and missions.
We are seeking a part-time pastor to shepherd spiritual growth and guide the church into its next season of health, outreach, and renewal. This position is well-suited for a bi-vocational pastor or someone early in their pastoral journey who is passionate about Jesus Christ, open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and energized by the opportunity to walk alongside a willing and active congregation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and preach Spirit-led, Biblically grounded sermons
- Provide vision and direction for the church’s mission and ministry efforts
- Support and participate in community outreach and local mission partnerships
- Offer pastoral care to individuals and families in various life stages
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to organize church events and encourage spiritual formation across all age groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (M.Div. preferred but not required)
- A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear sense of calling to pastoral ministry
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a heart for servant leadership
- Passion for church growth and engaging with the broader community
- Experience working with children, youth, or family ministries is a plus
- Ability to inspire and empower volunteers without creating burnout
