Hospitality & Connecting Coordinator

Bay Area Community Church is seeking a vibrant, relational individual with strong administrative gifts to support the connect ministry with a focus on hospitality. Primary tasks involve hospitality oversight (Sunday coffee teams, Bay Café, Serve Central, supporting Elder dinners, support for largescale events, and maintenance of kitchen spaces) as well as administrative support for connect team (database entry, following up with new guests, event set up and volunteer management).

Key Responsibilities:

Sunday Specific:

• Relational Support for Hospitality and Connect Teams

• Sunday point leader for hospitality teams and spaces (Bay Café, Serve Central)

• Support for Connecting Director and volunteer connect teams (greeting, parking, usher, ambassadors)

• Help create a welcoming environment by welcoming guests and affirming volunteers

• Event set up and behind-the-scenes assistance at connect events (First Step, Ministry Partner Orientation)

Weekly:

• Task and Administration Oriented

• Provide administrative support to Connecting Director and Serving Director

• New guest follow up ▪ Scheduling volunteer onboarding

• Scheduling teams ▪ Managing database entry

• Event set up o Manage hospitality tasks and administration

• Manage spaces (Bay Café, Serve Central, office kitchens) through inventory, cleanliness, staff usage

• Purchase ordering ▪ Manage teams (scheduling, onboarding)

• Managing budget and purchasing

• Administratively support church events as needed through catering orders, supplies, etc.

• Support elder dinners as needed

Additional Requirements:

• Weekly team debriefs

• Bi-weekly staff meetings

• 1-1 meetings with Connecting Director or Serving Director

• Weekly staff prayer sessions

• Additional administrative work as needed

Additional Requirements:

• Team player at large scale events like Christmas / Easter / SOULS • BACC Ministry Partner

• Knowledgeable or willing to learn about health code requirements
