About Christ Church: Christ Church Global is a growing, vibrant, multi-site church. Lead Pastor, Dr. Charles Kyker, tells the membership class that we want to reach two types of people at Christ Church: 1. Unchurched people and 2. those who want to reach unchurched people. At Christ Church, we will do whatever it takes, short of sin, to reach lost people for Jesus Christ.
Job Qualifications:
- Fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ: personal devotional life, tithing, serving, witnessing
- Genuine love for people
- Passion for reaching unchurched people
- Proven Leadership
- Ability to relate well with all types of people
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft programs
- Pliability & Willingness to Learn a Wesleyan Based Discipleship Model
- Commitment to Christ Church and goals set forth by the Lead Pastor and Leadership Team
- Team Player with the staff and lay leadership
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter
Job Responsibilities:
- Become the face of the College and Young Adult Discipleship and model the Christ Church DNA of Reaching the Unchurched and Developing fully devoted followers of Christ.
- Work closely with the High School Student Ministry Team to identify emerging leaders and building relationships with those who are college and/or work bound.
- Work with the Life Group Ministry Team and lay pastors to identify emerging lay leadership in launching life groups in college dorm rooms, apartments, work place and in homes to reach their generation through vital relationships.
- Identify, train, and equip emerging leaders in the Christ Church lay pastor model with special emphasis on “people belonging before believing”.
- Provide opportunities to college-age and young adults to connect through social events, bridge events and need based gatherings like “Relationships 101”, “Why marry?”, pre-marriage and marriage workshops and utilizing life group curriculum based on sermon series.
- Collaborate with Life Group Pastor, LG Administrator and Campus Pastors to cast vision for support of College Age and Young Adult Discipleship at all campuses of Christ Church.
