The Director of Youth Ministries shall provide vision and leadership for the congregation’s ministry to children, youth, and young adults (18-22 years old). He or she, along with the staff and council, shall develop and maintain a ministry whose goal is to encourage all who come under his or her care to follow Jesus as evidenced by profession of faith in Jesus Christ, participation in the life of the church, and integration of faith with life.
Personal Qualifications:
• A dedicated Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit, knowledgeable of Biblical truths and in agreement with the Reformed faith.
• Have a sincere love for the spiritual growth and development of youth.
• A team player, able to collaborate well with staff and volunteers.
• Become a professing member of Providence CRC.
• Previous experience in Youth Ministry.
• Affirm a traditional view of gender, marriage, and human sexuality.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Provide vision and leadership for ministries targeted for children, youth, and young adult ministries. This includes coaching and guiding the staff and volunteer leaders and coordinators of those ministries.
• Lead and develop the congregation's ministry to high school students. This includes but is not limited to:
• Overtime, develop a targeted ministry for 18–22-year-old young adults by maintaining relationships with High School graduates.
Shared Responsibilities:
• Represent Providence to the CRCNA, the church at large, and the community.
• Collaborate with staff members in a spirit of mutual support, respect, and encouragement.
• Attend weekly staff meetings.
Accountability:
• Report directly to the Lead Pastor
• Submit monthly reports to the Executive Council.
Providence Christian Reformed Church (PCRC) awaits the arrival of a Director of Youth Ministries to provide vision and direction for its ministry to children, youth, and post-high young adults. PCRC thanks the Lord that during the last two decades the congregation has experienced incremental numerical growth resulting in a vibrant multi-generational congregationand staff-led ministry. They also thank the Lord for the recent addition of Lead Pastor KC Vande Streek who has brought new energy to its life and ministry.

They minister to a demographically growing area (the fastest growing area in the region). They are a multi-generational congregation blessed by many children and young adults.
