Position Title: Worship Leader

Overview:
Vertical Church Gallipolis is seeking a passionate and skilled Worship Leader to join our team full-time. The Worship Leader will play a vital role in planning and leading worship services, fostering a culture of discipleship, and mentoring a team of musicians and worshippers. This position is ideal for a mature and growing believer with strong musical abilities, leadership skills, and a heart for worship and discipleship.

Vertical Church Gallipolis
Responsibilities:
- Plan with the elders and lead worship services, including song selection, arrangement, and overall worship flow.
- Lead worship.
- Collaborate with the worship team.
- Conduct regular team meetings, rehearsals, and training sessions.
- Mentor and develop musicians and worship team members.
- Engage with the congregation.
- Oversee the technical aspects of worship, including sound, lighting, and multimedia.
- Participate in church leadership.

Skills and Abilities:
Worship Leading:
- Ability to lead congregational singing effectively.
- Has a heart for worship.
- Understands the flow of worship.
- Understands the components of a worship service.

- Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Able to build, mentor, and motivate a diverse worship team.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with team members and church staff.
- Encourages and develops the gifts and talents of others within the team.
Qualifications:
- Delights in Jesus.
- Qualify to be a member of Vertical Church Gallipolis.
- Previous experience in worship leading is preferred.
- Demonstrates a heart for loving Jesus, serving the church, and a commitment to its mission and values.
- Possesses a servant’s heart, humility, and a desire to grow relationally, spiritually, and musically.
