Private School Bible Teacher

Spring Mountain Christian Academy is a small, private school in the Clackamas/Happy Valley area southeast of Portland that serves a diverse student body, with many students coming from a variety of Slavic and Eastern European backgrounds.

We are hiring a Bible teacher for three class sections of 13-20 students (grades 7, 8, and 9-10), three hours a day, three days a week (Mon-Wed, could be morning or afternoon).

Our teacher will join a team that is working to help students develop and live out their faith. He or she will be able to craft a curriculum in concert with what students have covered in previous years and what other instructors are teaching, and the same content could be used for all three sections with assignment difficulty scaled for the various grade levels.

SMCA is partnering with families to educate students in Bible knowledge and in a Christian worldview, to develop understanding in evangelical Christian values and principles, to train students in moral character, to provide quality academic education in knowledge and understanding, and to promote service to God and others.
