Small Groups Director

The Small Groups Director is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the church’s small group ministry. You are responsible for ensuring that the congregation is “finding their people” and creating spiritual families through a strong, healthy, and growing small group ministry. This includes development and execution of an annual growth plan, group leader identification and recruitment, small group curriculum, semi-annual small group engagement campaigns, and ongoing enlistment, development, and coaching of small group leaders.

The win for this role is a consistently growing number of small groups, small group membership, and small group leaders, such that being part of a small group spiritual family is ingrained in the DNA of the church.

Church of the King Katy is a rapidly-growing nondenominational church located in the thriving West Houston-Katy community. Reaching people who do not know God, doing life together, and building Spiritual Family are the mandates that Church of the King lives by. Having just celebrated our 8th anniversary, we have been blessed to grow from a start-up team in a local school to an average attendance of 2,200 on our own campus. Our vision is "Reaching People.
