The Worship Director at Vertical Church leads the congregation in Gospel-centered, Spirit-led worship and influences the church to grow as worshippers. Under the direction of the Lead Pastor, this person will lead teams and coordinate the administrative duties of our ministries by building musicians, production team members, and vocal teams to support the vision and mission of Vertical Church.
To be successful in this role, a person must be committed to their own personal discipleship in order to genuinely invite others to join them in unashamed worship, as well as possess the musicality and production skills necessary to execute high-impact worship gatherings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead worship services and events at Vertical Church
● Provide worship leadership in various services (Sunday morning, young adults ministry, Men’s and Women’s ministries)
● Assist volunteer worship leaders in ensuring tracks are ready for teams and uploaded to Planning Center
● Ensure schedules, order of services, and one-on-one meetings are organized for the worship team
● Provide administrative support to worship ministry
Recruit, train, and onboard new musicians
● Assimilate and build worship teams to understand the philosophy of worship at Vertical Church while growing their skill set and personal discipleship
● Help with leadership responsibilities and participate in discipleship efforts beyond the worship team directed by the Lead Pastor
