Director of Discipleship & Worship Ministries

The Director for Discipleship and Worship Ministries will oversee our discipleship ministries (Adult Sunday School, Life Groups and Worship). This role requires a passion for multidirectional discipleship development (recruiting potential leaders, growing new leaders and equipping existing leaders) and practical stewardship (leading and/or participating in key ministry teams, such as, deacon team, finance team, worship team, etc). The right leader will possess a pastoral heart, a passion for gospel ministry, and proven skill in organizational leadership through relationships and timely communication.

Essential Leadership Skills:

• Ability to create and manage systems for a growing church.

• Ability to break down large projects into manageable steps

• Volunteers are equipped, heard and are comfortable speaking about their needs.

• Elders and deacons have timely, accurate information about finances and ministries

• The systems and structures are working well and regularly refined for effectiveness.

Education: Bachelor's degree, experience preferred

Expectations Compensation

• Hours: 45+ per week

• Salary: to be determined based on experience and stage of life

• Benefits: 15 vacation days per year (includes three Sundays) additional days with additional years, 12 days off for major holidays, 10 sick days; expense account; retirement match; mileage reimbursement, and a laptop.
