Pastor

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastor to lead our congregation and provide spiritual guidance to our community. The ideal candidate will embody strong leadership qualities, possess the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, and exhibit both relational and emotional maturity. This role requires a commitment to mentoring individuals, planning events, and leading outreach efforts. The Pastor will play a vital role in educating the congregation through sermons, teachings, and small groups.

Duties

• Lead regular worship services, including preaching and teaching from the Bible.

• Provide spiritual counseling and support to individuals and families in need.

• Mentor church members, fostering their spiritual growth and development.

• Plan and organize church events, including community outreach programs, small groups, and special services.

• Communicate effectively with congregation members through various channels, including newsletters, social media, and personal interactions.

• Write sermons, educational materials, and other content that aligns with the church's mission.

Requirements

• A deep commitment to faith and a strong understanding of the Bible.

• The ability to explain the Bible clearly, compassionately, and consistently.

• Proven experience in leadership roles within a church or community setting.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to mentor individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

• Experience in event planning and execution within a church context is preferred.

• A willingness to be present for the congregation during both joyous occasions and times of need.

• Relevant theological education or training is preferred but not mandatory.
