About the Position
The Worship Pastor is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing the worship ministry of TBC, ensuring a cohesive vision for worship across all ages—from children to senior adults. The Worship Pastor will work closely with the Creative Arts Director, Production Director, along with other staff and volunteers to create meaningful worship experiences. The Worship Pastor must be a servant leader who values leadership development, team growth, and long-term vision.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Service Planning & Execution: Work closely with the Creative Arts team to plan and implement engaging worship services that align with the overall mission and the Lead Pastor’s sermon series.
- Lead and Develop Worship Ministry: Provide vision and direction for worship across all TBC ministries, ensuring age-appropriate yet unified worship experiences.
- Team Building & Leadership Development: Recruit, equip, train and care (shepherd) a diverse team. This includes worship leaders, band, orchestra, choir members, and vocalists, cultivating a strong pipeline of future leaders. (See Org. Chart)
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner with Worship, Production, and Creative teams to execute seamless services and special events.
- Culture of Excellence & Growth: Foster an environment of evaluation and continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality worship experiences that align with TBC’s mission and values.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the worship ministry budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
- Expansion of Worship Training: Strengthen and expand the current School of Worship, providing opportunities for children and students to develop musical and technical skills for worship ministry.

- Create a culture of developing other leaders within the worship ministry.

- Provide Pastoral Care over worship ministry team members. Hospital Visits and Friday Pastor on Call once every 8weeks.
- Potential Annual Events require additional preparation.
