Overview:
Masonboro Baptist Church is seeking a friendly, organized, and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. This vital role supports the smooth daily operations of the church and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for members and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage church office operations, including phone calls, emails, and mail
- Maintain church calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate events
- Prepare bulletins, newsletters, and other communications
- Maintain membership records and databases
- Provide administrative support to the pastor and ministry leaders
- Assist with financial record-keeping
- Assist with church website and social media apps
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold church values
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
- Proven administrative or office experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Apps, and Realm software (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a heart for ministry
