Church Overview

Arroyo Church is a recently replanted church that is steadily growing in Livermore, California. We are currently averaging 140 in weekly attendance. For larger Sundays we have been close to 300 multiple times throughout last year. We were given a 4 ½ acre property early last year and God has been moving! We have a very welcoming community that is filled with a good mix of non-Christians, new believers, and maure followers of Jesus. We believe we have reached a growth barrier and are prayerfully seeking a pastor who will help mobilize people into community and service so the church can grow in a healthy and sustainable way. We were given a 4 ½ acre property early last year and God has been moving!

Role Summary

The Associate Pastor of Ministries serves as a key pastoral leader responsible for helping people move from attendance to active participation through groups, serving, and ministry engagement. This role focuses on discipleship systems, volunteer mobilization, and ministry health, while also providing oversight for key ministries and church operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, launch, and support healthy small groups and group leaders 
• Create and manage clear pathways for guests to become connected, serving members
• Mobilize, train, and care for serve teams across the church 
• Provide oversight for Arroyo Kids ministry and the church facilities maintenance and staff 
• Preaching experience is not required. Potential preaching opportunities are available based on gifting and experience, but this role is primarily focused on building systems that foster engagement 
• Partner closely with the Lead Pastor to implement church vision and strategy

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Lead Pastor. The Arroyo Kids Director and Facilities will report to the Associate Pastor of Ministries.

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 total compensation (benefits included)
