Student Ministry Pastor
The Student Ministry Pastor leads a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry for middle and high school students, fostering spiritual growth, discipleship, and meaningful relationships with students and families. This full-time role advances the mission and vision of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church through engaging programming, strong leadership development, and pastoral care.
Salary: $53,000–$68,000 annually (negotiable, based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly student ministry programming, worship services, and small groups aligned with church vision.
- Select and implement biblically sound, age-appropriate curriculum.
- Plan and oversee events, outreach opportunities, fundraisers, retreats, and camps.
- Recruit, train, disciple, and care for student ministry volunteers and leadership teams.
- Provide pastoral care for students and families; equip parents—especially fathers—as spiritual leaders.
- Communicate effectively through newsletters, email, social media, and the student ministry website.
- Manage ministry calendars, budgets, and administrative systems.
- Collaborate with church staff and participate in church-wide initiatives.
- Occasionally preach, lead premarital counseling, and serve in pastoral roles as needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of student ministry experience, including at least 3 years in a director-level role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relational skills.
- Passion for discipling students and partnering with families.
- Creative, organized, and mission-driven.
- Alignment with the mission, values, and doctrinal beliefs of Myrtle Grove Baptist.
