Summer Pastoral Intern

Position Title: Pastoral Summer Intern

Ministry Purpose:

The pastoral internship is a three-month paid internship that allows seminary students to

have hands on ministry experience within the local church. Our church will seek to mentor,

support, and welcome the intern into the life of a nine-year-old church plant and allow them

to exercise their gifting in different avenues within the local body of believers to help prepare

them for full-time vocational ministry.

Faithful Bible Church is a Gospel-Centered Church dedicated to Proclaim Christ’s Glory to the

Nations. We are a nine-year-old church plant that is located in beautiful Pinehurst, NC. We

are a church that is growing in our desire to become multi-cultural to meet the growing

diverse community that our church currently resides in. We currently consist of young

military families who are eager to grow in their faith. You can learn more about our vision

Hours Per Week: 40

Pay: $3,200 a month plus housing stipend

Requirements:

• A follower of Jesus Christ who Demonstrates a lifestyle that is consistent in word and

practice with the Christian faith

• Affirms Faithful Bible Church’s doctrinal statement and values

• Has a disposition that remains humble and eager to learn

• Be willing to move into the nearby community for the summer (a housing stipend will be provided by

the church)

• Self-motivated

Ministry Job Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for forming and preaching 4-5 sermons within Faithful Bible Church’s

summer series.

• Attendance at worship services that will include involvement in different ministries within

the church.

o Preaching

o Greeting Team

o Children’s Ministry

o Assist planning an All Church Event

• Assist with scheduling Sunday Volunteers

• Meet regularly with Lead Pastor

• Read and discuss assigned Pastoral Reading

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
