About the Position
RBBC holds that biblically speaking, pastors, elders, and overseers are one and the same office. Therefore, as we seek God for the man to fill the ministerial function as our worship pastor, we are also seeking for someone who is Biblically qualified for the office of elder as described in Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3. When bringing on a new staff member from outside our body, we customarily appoint him as a “staff minister” until such time as the congregation can get to know him and he can be brought before the congregation for ordination as an elder at RBBC. At that time, his job title will change from Worship Minister to Worship Pastor.
