Catalyst Study Hall is seeking caring, dependable, and faith-filled teachers to join our growing Christian learning community. We serve homeschool families by providing a joyful, structured, relationship-centered learning environment for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

This is an ideal opportunity for credentialed teachers, experienced homeschool parents, children’s ministry leaders, retired educators, or anyone called to invest deeply in children while working in a supportive, family-like school community.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a small classroom of students in a warm, engaging, and well-managed environment
• Teach assigned academic subjects using provided curriculum and lesson plans
• Encourage students academically, socially, and spiritually
• Help create a classroom culture built on kindness, responsibility, curiosity, and respect
• Communicate professionally with parents and collaborate with fellow teachers and staff
• Participate in daily chapel, PE, campus events, and the life of our school community
• Maintain classroom organization, student progress records, and a positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love for children and a strong Christian faith
• Experience teaching, homeschooling, tutoring, children’s ministry, or leading groups of children
• Ability to manage a classroom with warmth, consistency, and clear expectations
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to support Catalyst’s Christ-centered mission and statement of faith
• Teaching credential preferred for some roles, but not required for every position
• Background check and mandated reporter certification required

Our board is made up of parents who are invested in the vision, helping steward and guide the ministry with care and accountability. We are not a for-profit program filled with extras and add-ons. Instead, Catalyst is intentionally simple — more like a larger, supported homeschool environment. This allows us to: keep program contributions accessible, focus on what truly matters, build strong relationships between families, participants, and guides, and create a peaceful, grounded learning environment.
