Worship Pastor

Hoffmantown Church is searching for a Worship & Music Pastor who is more than a musician—you are a shepherd, leader, and worshipper first. You have a passion for guiding people into meaningful encounters with God and building a team that leads with excellence and authenticity.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and lead engaging, Christ-centered worship services
• Recruit, develop, and shepherd a worship team (choir, orchestra, vocalists, band, tech)
• Work closely with the Senior Pastor to align worship with the preaching vision
• Create a culture of authentic worship, not performance
• Oversee audio/visual and production elements
• Help lead special services (holidays, events, etc.)
• Invest in the spiritual growth of your team and the church body

What You Bring

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a call to ministry
• Agreement with SBC doctrine and theology (fully qualified male related to 1 Tim. 3:2-7; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Titus 1:5-9)
• Musical expertise (vocals + at least one instrument preferred)
• Significant worship leading/conducting experience
• Strong leadership skills with a servant’s heart and collaborative spirit
• Familiarity with tech/production
• Ability to engage multiple generations in worship
